Interactions Amoxicillin ibuprofen Metamizol paracetamol
The possible interactions between the following medications are:
- Amoxicillin
- Interactions with other medications may occur, particularly with drugs that affect intestinal flora or impair kidney function. There may also be interactions with oral contraceptives.
- Ibuprofen
- Ibuprofen can enhance the effects of anticoagulant medications and increase the risk of bleeding. It can also weaken the effects of ACE inhibitors and diuretics. Long-term use of ibuprofen can impair kidney function.
- Metamizol
- Metamizol can enhance the effects of anticoagulant medications and increase the risk of bleeding. It can also increase the risk of side effects from other analgesics and antipyretics.
- Paracetamol
- When taken concurrently with alcohol or a specific enzyme inducer (e.g. carbamazepine), paracetamol can lead to increased liver burden. Paracetamol can also affect the effects of anticoagulant medications.
